The footpath on the Gillies Range Road in Yungaburra was extended onto Fig Street and across the road into Maude Kehoe Park in 2023–24. Stage 2 of the project will connect the footpath along Fig Street to Ash Street. Work will commence on 3 November and take about four months to complete.
A new 35m footpath section between Park Avenue and Malanda Showgrounds was completed in August 2026.
About 100m of damaged footpath was replaced and other sections repaired on Park Avenue. The project was completed in December 2025.
A 160m damaged section was replaced with new footpath on Moore Street. The project was completed in February 2026.
New sections of Tinaroo Foreshore footpath network were completed in December 2025 and include:
- A 76m section connecting the Tinaroo foreshore car parks to the existing pathway near the playground
- A 22m new footpath joining the existing foreshore path to the toilet
- New footpath sections connecting the existing bitumen to Church Street.
