The footpath on the Gillies Range Road in Yungaburra was extended onto Fig Street and across the road into Maude Kehoe Park in 2023–24. Stage 2 of the project will connect the footpath along Fig Street to Ash Street. Work will commence on 3 November and take about four months to complete.
About 100m of damaged footpath will be removed and replaced, and other sections repaired on Park Avenue. The project will commence in 2026 and be completed by June.

Proposed paths include joining the:
- Tinaroo foreshore car parks to the existing pathway near the playground
- existing foreshore path to the toilet
- existing pathways to Church Street.
