TRC Grants & Sponsorship

Community, environment and youth achievement grants, and event sponsorship are fully expended for 2023–24. Applications are still being received but won’t be assessed until next financial year.

  • Arts, Culture and Heritage (Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)) — to support quality arts and cultural experiences and build local cultural capacity. Quick response grants of up to $1000 are available all year (while funds last), and major grants of up to $6000 are assessed in March and October. RADF is a Queensland Government and Tablelands Regional Council partnership to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
  • Community — up to $2000 for activities that contribute to an active, inclusive, connected and empowered community.
  • Economy — between $2000 and $10,000 representing 50% of the total project costs for activities that contribute to a growing, diverse, resilient and agile economy. Applications are assessed in February and August.
  • Environment — up to $2000 for activities that contribute to a valued, managed and healthy environment.
  • Youth Achievement — to support youth when representing the TRC Region in sporting, recreational, academic, arts and culture, or community leadership and/or ambassadorship activities. Up to $250 for regional events (north of and including Townsville), $350 for state events (in Queensland or south of Townsville) and $500 for national or international events (anywhere outside Queensland). Applications are assessed in January, April, July and October.
  • Event sponsorship — in-kind and cash support to eligible event organisers who deliver events in the TRC local government area that seek to create economic and social outcomes for the region.
