Youth Excellence Grants support youth when representing the TRC Region in sporting, recreational, academic, arts and culture, or community leadership and/or ambassadorship activities. Up to $250 to support events held regionally (north of and including Townsville), $350 to support events held in Queensland (south of Townsville) and $500 for events held outside Queensland including internationally.

Grants provide:

Conditions

Funding is capped at $850/eligible youth/financial year.
Applicants must be selected by a recognised peak body through a competitive merit-based process.
Retrospective funding is not available.
