Our libraries — located in Atherton, Herberton, Malanda, Millaa Millaa, Mount Garnet, Ravenshoe and Yungaburra — are dynamic and welcoming spaces that provide access to free workshops and activities, historical archives, new fiction and non-fiction, public computers, free wifi and much more.
Library membership is free to all residents of the TRC Region by presenting identification and proof of current residential address.
You can join online and then visit one of our seven branches to validate your account and collect your membership card. There is no minimum age for joining but you need to register in person with a parent or guardian if you are under 18. The parent/guardian must also be a library member.
Your library card gives you access to all library resources including online collections.
Not a local resident? Visitor memberships are available (fees apply — search ‘Libraries’ in our fees and charges).
