Free Community First Aid Courses

Tablelands Regional Council is hosting free first aid courses for community disaster teams and community members willing to provide first aid during a disaster.

‘This nationally accredited course will build capacity to provide first aid until emergency services arrive,’ said Local Disaster Management Group Chair Mayor Rod Marti.

‘First aid skills are critical and we want to equip our community with the abilities and knowledge to provide help in any situation.

‘This will increase our resilience and reduce our dependence on emergency services, who can be overstretched during large scale events.

‘Courses are available across the region so submit your expression of interest by Monday 2 June,’ said Mayor Marti.

  • Herberton Hall — 9am–4pm Monday 16 June
