Accepted Development

Certain development proposals are categorised as accepted development under our Planning Scheme 2016. While some forms of accepted development are essentially unregulated by the Planning Scheme and do not require approval, others are only exempt if the development is conducted in accordance with criteria for the particular land use. While accepted development allows proponents to conduct their own compliance checks, we also offer an accepted development review service for those who may not be familiar with the planning scheme. Fees apply.

  1. Complete the accepted development review service form (below) including uploading necessary document.
  2. We will email you an invoice.
  3. Once the invoice is paid, we will review the documents and provide comments via email.
  4. Submit amended plans addressing relevant assessment benchmarks as per comments.
  5. We will provide formal confirmation that the proposal constitutes accepted development.

Any further reviews of plans will incur additional fees.
