Located in Atherton, we operate three galleries  — Tableland Regional Gallery, Old Post Office Gallery and Foyer Gallery.

Exhibitions are constantly changing and include artworks from local artists, travelling exhibitions, and school and community groups.

We have community disaster teams in Herberton, Malanda, Millaa Millaa, Mount Garnet, Ravenshoe, Tinaroo/Kairi and Yungaburra. These groups of passionate locals work with the Local Disaster Coordination Centre before, during and after disasters to ensure a two-way flow of information between the Local Disaster Management Group and community. The level of involvement depends on the skills of the members and volunteers.

We have five centres across the region — Atherton, Herberton, Malanda, Ravenshoe and Yungaburra. Our Information Centres and Visitor Centres create an information network and provide community hubs for locals and visitors. Information centres aren’t just for visitors. They are a treasure trove of information and opportunities.

Our libraries — located in Atherton, Herberton, Malanda, Millaa Millaa, Mount Garnet, Ravenshoe and Yungaburra — are dynamic and welcoming spaces that provide access to free workshops and activities, historical archives, new fiction and non-fiction, public computers, free wifi and much more.

Come and join us. It’s all about making friends, having fun and supporting library services in our community.
