Tablelands Regional Council Libraries conducted a short survey to assess how well the current opening hours in each branch meet the needs of our library users.
Library members and library users were invited to provide feedback on operating hours for the branches they visit, and responses will help shape what, if any, changes are required. Any changes will be trialled before being formally adopted for each branch. It is not intended that any of the libraries will have reduced opening hours, and to ensure they operate to budget, the number of opening hours will not increase.
The survey was open from Monday 2 March 2026 – Sunday 15 March 2026 and has now been closed.
Stay tuned for some information to follow based on your input about the hours at your local library.
We will also use this community feedback to inform the development of the 2026–27 Tablelands Regional Council Library Strategy.
