PCYC- Breaking the Cycle

Mareeba
‘Braking the Cycle’ will provide young people;
• An induction process and several road safety events
• 1 x 60 min driver instructor lesson – this ensures you are a “safe” enough driver, to be paired with a mentor in a vehicle without dual controls
• Driving sessions with a mentor from the community – mentors and students are matched based on personality types, to ensure the most effective delivery of education
• Systemic learner driver sessions (BTC has session plans in place to ensure that BTC QLD is delivering a consistent quality of service across the state, the content all surrounds creating safer young drivers)
• Electronic Training Modules to be alongside the session plans (these are mandatory and will be completed every 25 hours)
• Access to Auto and Manual cars
We currently have a short wait list of Youth Participants, and BTC spots are prioritised based on the highest need and your efficiency in completing the onboarding process.
