Atherton Tableland Mineral and Lapidary Club Inc.
Our club offers membership from 12-year-olds through to 90-year-olds. We offer courses in the art of Gem cutting and polishing, Silversmithing, cutting cabochons along with casting workshops, field fossicking trips and social outings. It is a great social club for people interested in rocks, stones, gems, minerals and all things lapidary.
Our club holds its annual Gem Festival in August as its major fundraising event. This event attracts over 40 stallholders with amazing merchandise from all over Qld,
It also attracts a huge Tableland fraternity as well as visiting public and tourists who come from near and far to enjoy this amazing annual event.
However, this year 2025, due to the TRC carrying out extensive building renovations, our club will be closed from Wednesday April 23rd until late August. Our Gem Festival will be held on Sunday October 5th to coincide with the Tolga Markets.
