Draft Land Management Plan Open

Tablelands Regional Council has developed a draft Land Management Plan for Jack May Park (Reserve 13983) being Lot 340 on SP352807, situated at Mary Street, Malanda.

The Land Management Plan describes the existing use and infrastructure located on the Reserve and sets out Council’s intentions as Trustee of the Reserve, with respect to management of the land according to its gazetted use and in accordance with the provisions of the Tablelands Regional Council Planning Scheme. The Land Management Plan provides for the continued use of sewerage infrastructure on part of the Reserve.

The draft Land Management Plan is open for public comment for a period of 28 days and can be accessed via Council’s website.

A copy of the document is also available for viewing at Atherton Customer Service Centre at 45 Mabel Street, Atherton. Submissions in relation to the draft plan will close at 5.00pm on 27 October 2026 and should be forwarded to info@trc.qld.gov.au or PO Box 573, Atherton QLD 4883.
