Event Listing Terms & Conditions

  1. Events and activities (events) must be located within the Tablelands Regional Council (TRC) area, or be deemed relevant to our residents and visitors.
  2. Events must be open and have broad appeal to the general community within the TRC area. We will not accept members-only events, events for discrete interest groups and specific professions, or activities where participants are required to be affiliated with the organisers. Statewide and nation-wide fundraising, charity and awareness events will not be published.
  3. Only community events will be listed. Business, service and political activities or any type of commercial promotion will not be accepted. Events relating to or held by a group that conflicts with our corporate mission/vision will not be listed.
  4. Only submit your listing once you have secured the necessary permits, licences, insurances and other relevant approvals.
  5. Submit requests at least two weeks prior to the event. Allow five–seven working days from when you submit your event listing for it to be reviewed, moderated and published.
  6. Inclusion in the event calendar is not guaranteed and you will be advised if your event is not suitable for the calendar. TRC is not liable for any loss or damage incurred by an event organiser as a result of failure or delay in listing an event.
  7. Listings are subject to editorial discretion. TRC reserves the right to reject listing requests, edit listing details and remove listings.
  8. The person submitting the listing must ensure the information supplied is accurate, information is kept up to date, and must notify TRC as soon as possible of any changes. TRC is not liable for any loss or damage incurred by an event organiser as a result of failure to advise changes to a listed event.
  9. TRC’s events calendar is provided without any warranties or guarantees the service will be error-free and without disruption.
