Applications for the Tableland Regional Gallery, Old Post Office Gallery and Foyer Gallery are assessed by TRC Officers with input from the Tablelands Galleries Working Group, comprising community members with a diverse range of perspectives and experience. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in writing. If an application to exhibit in a particular gallery is unsuccessful, one of the other two spaces may be offered if suitable.
Applications are open until 5pm Monday 11 May 2026.
Applications are assessed on:
- artistic merit and originality
- clear communication of the exhibition’s concept or purpose in the application
- promotion of the cultural interests of the Tablelands Region
- adequate information to support the application, and consideration of how the proposed exhibition will be installed in the gallery space
- consideration of public program opportunities e.g. artist talk, artist in residence, workshops, etc.
Applications are welcomed from local, regional, and national artists, with particular encouragement for artists connected to the region.

Applicants must be 18 years or older or have consent from a guardian or institution if under 18.

Applicants may submit proposals for:
- Solo exhibitions
- Group exhibitions
- Curated exhibitions
- Community exhibitions
- Touring exhibitions
Responsibilities of Successful Applicants
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Provide final artwork details
- Deliver works by agreed dates
- Ensure artworks are exhibition-ready
- Participate in installation where required
- Collect artworks at the end of the exhibition
Artists may also participate in public programs such as artist talks or workshops by arrangement with the Galleries Officer.
