Enchanted Fields Sensory Space at the Atherton Show.

Tablelands Regional Council is once again hosting a sensory space at the Atherton Show on 29 & 30 June, with this year’s theme being ‘Enchanted Fields’.
Step into a gentle, garden-like setting with glow in the dark features, soft music and fun sensory activities. The Enchanted Fields Sensory Space is a calming experience with reduced noise and free of flashing lights to help reduce sensory overload.

Entry into the Enchanted Fields Sensory Space is free. Find us near the Louise Street entrance to the showgrounds (Site 21 on the Atherton Show map).

Enchanted Fields forms part of Atherton Show’s Inclusion Program. On Monday 29 June from 9am to 12noon there will be a show-wide Sensory Session with reduced noise and no flashing lights across the showgrounds. During this time, $10 entry into the Atherton Show will be offered for Disability, Pension and Veteran card holders, with free entry for accompanying companions and carers that hold a valid companion card.

While visiting the Enchanted Fields Sensory Space, be sure to pick up a free TRC Emergency Safety Show Bag, including helpful disaster preparedness information, a water bottle, USB drive and a colouring book, coloured pencils and other fun items for kids!
