Be Heard at Tableland Youth Forum

Tablelands Regional Council (TRC) is calling for young voices for their Tablelands Youth Matters Forum.

‘The forum will be a great platform to discuss key priorities in the Tablelands Youth Strategy, and our theme — Your Voice Matters — speaks volumes about the importance we place on hearing from the young people in our community,’ said Mayor Rod Marti.

‘Our community is constantly changing so it’s critical we continue to engage and consult with the 12–25-year-olds to help shape the decisions we make about the future of our region.

‘The forum is hosted by the crew at Red Frogs and will be at 10am–2pm Friday 3 May at Merriland Hall, Atherton Showgrounds.

‘Red Frogs is a support program for young people 13–30 that provides positive peer presence and works to change culture.

‘You can register through schools, organisations and at TRCCommunityServices@trc.qld.gov.au by Friday 19 April,’ Mayor Marti said.
