Free Youth Sensory Space Artist Workshops

Tablelands Regional Council is excited to host two free and accessible artist workshops for young people aged 12-25, to help create elements for the Enchanted Fields Sensory Space ahead of this year’s Atherton Show. The overarching theme for this year is ‘Fields of the Future: innovate, cultivate, and celebrate!’

9.00am–12.00pm 15 and 17 April 2026 at the Merriland Hall in Atherton.

Delivered during Youth Week, April 2026, the free workshops will celebrate creativity, participation and community connection and will be facilitated by the talented professional artist, Johanna Wood who’s based in Millaa Millaa. All materials needed will be provided as well as morning tea.

Places are limited so registrations are highly recommended. Although the sessions are scheduled for three hours, you are welcome to drop in to participate at any time during the session times.
