  • Our Cultural Plan aims to sustain cultural vitality and develop connectivity and collaboration through arts and cultural experiences, to bring about a sense of unity across the region, while ensuring in smaller areas retain and celebrate their own identity.
  • The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a Queensland Government partnership, through Arts Queensland and TRC to support local arts and culture. It enables professional and emerging artists and arts practitioners living in regional Queensland to receive support for a wide range of arts and cultural projects.
  • Our TRC Grants program offers assistance to not-for-profit incorporated community groups or youth residing in our community in accordance with the Grant Program Policy. Funding is available for community, youth achievement, environment and economic grants.
  • We operate three galleries in the Tablelands Region. Exhibitions are constantly changing and include artworks from local artists, travelling exhibitions, and school and community groups.
  • There is a range of museums scattered across the region. Each shares its own piece of history in a unique and engaging way.
  • Honour our wartime history at cenotaphs and memorials in various towns including the Rocky Creek War Memorial Park and Afghanistan Avenue of Honour.
  • The Queensland Heritage Register is a list of places that have cultural heritage significance to the people of Queensland. There are numerous recognised buildings, cemeteries, memorials and parcels of land scattered across the Tablelands.
  • Every week there is an assortment of events on offer within the Tablelands region including weekend markets showcasing local arts and crafts.
