Public Art EOI

Tablelands Regional Council has allocated up to $220,000 for public art for the Priors Creek Development in Atherton.

‘We are inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from creative and experienced artists or arts groups to submit a high-level concept,’ said Mayor Rod Marti.

‘This is an exciting opportunity to create a sense of place and develop a public art attraction for the region.

‘The theme for the art is ‘Celebration of our unique flora, fauna and natural environment and authentic storytelling of the cultural heritage of the Tablelands Region’.

‘We’ve identified several potential locations for the art in the development area, and the submissions can be for one or multiple locations.

‘We are hoping for a range of ideas including high impact signature concepts.

‘We are accepting EOIs until Wednesday 26 July 2023, and we’ll then assess the concepts and invite quotes from successful applicants,’ said Mayor Marti.
