2024 Australia Day Award Recipients

Today we celebrated the 2024 Australia Day Award recipients at a ceremony in Atherton.

‘It was a great day to recognise these amazing people and organisations in our community, and remind ourselves why the Tablelands Region is such a great place to live, work and play,’ said Mayor Rod Marti.

‘Arts, sports, recreation, community services and events in our region would be nothing without the support and contribution of these people and organisations.

‘Congratulations to all the nominees and award recipients.

‘It was also a great honour to welcome five new Australian citizens into our community,’ said Mayor Marti.
