Disaster Plans

Tablelands Regional Council

The Tablelands Local Disaster Management Plan, created in association with the Local Disaster Management Group, details the disaster management arrangements for the area, and outlines the roles and responsibilities of the various agencies involved in disaster management.

A number of Operational Sub Plans have been prepared to support the Local Disaster Management Plan. Plans available include:

• Activation of the Local Disaster Management Group
• Public Information & Warnings
• Evacuation Centre Management (1.26MB)

The Tablelands Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) has been working with local residents and community groups to develop Community Disaster Plans.   The following plans are now available:

• Malanda Community All Hazards Disaster Plan
• Mt Garnet Community All Hazards Disaster Plan
• Ravenshoe Community Disaster Plan (2.84MB)
• Yungaburra Community Disaster Plan (3.24MB)
• Millaa Millaa All Hazards Community Disaster Plan
