Working With Our Suppliers

Tablelands Regional Council is working with suppliers to better understand their needs when it comes to tendering and providing quotes.

Mayor Rod Marti said TRC was committed to improving transparency, fairness and accessibility in its procurement practices.

‘We want to make it easy for suppliers to work with us, and to find out if there are challenges to doing business with TRC.

‘We’re planning to deliver supplier workshop/s in the community and are reaching out to understand what suppliers would like to know during the workshop/s.

‘A strong and diverse supplier network helps us deliver better outcomes for our community, and your feedback will ensure the workshop/s are tailored to your needs.

‘Working with and using local suppliers is important to us, and we have allowance in our policies and procedures to ensure local suppliers are prioritised,’ Mayor Marti said.
