SUMMARY:Sunday in the Park - Atherton Tablelands Instrumental Music
DESCRIPTION:The monthly Sunday in the Park concert\, hosted by the Yungaburra Community Rotunda\, will feature students from the Atherton Tablelands Instrumental Music (ATIM) program. \nThe Southern Tablelands Primary Concert band consists of students from Herberton State School\, Ravenshoe State Schools\, Walkamin State School\, Malanda Primary\, and Malanda High. This ensemble will come together for the first time to perform for this particular concert. Conductor\, Mrs. Otto\, has been teaching instrumental music for ten years and has been based in North Queensland for the last seven years. They look forward to presenting a diverse range of pieces\, from concert band pieces. \nDate: Sunday 14 September 2025 \nTime: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm \nVenue: Yungaburra Community Rotunda \nThis is a family-friendly free event\, and if you wish\, you can donate directly to the band. All are welcome to attend! \nRemember to bring along a chair\, blanket\, or rug to reserve your piece of front-row lawn. Parking is available via Short Street. In case of rain\, the alternative venue will be the Yungaburra Rec Shed\, Barrine Road (next to the tennis courts).

DESCRIPTION:The Lions Club of Yungaburra Inc is pleased to announce the inaugural Yungaburra Heritage Tractor & Machinery Day\, to be held Saturday\, 27 September 2025. \nThis community event will highlight the history of agricultural machinery in the Atherton Tablelands\, providing an opportunity for individuals and groups to exhibit heritage tractors and machinery\, while promoting appreciation for the region’s agricultural legacy. \nThe event will be held at the Lions Club of Yungaburra Inc Oval and Shed\, located on Tinaburra Drive\, Yungaburra QLD 4884.
