SUMMARY:Sunday in the Park with Country Folk Bloke – Mitch Humphries
DESCRIPTION:The monthly Sunday in the Park event will be held on Sunday 15 March 2026\, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm\, at the beautiful Yungaburra Community Rotunda. \nThis month’s featured performer is local favourite Country Folk Bloke – Mitch Humphries\, bringing an authentic slice of country life to the heart of Yungaburra. \nMitch Humphries grew up on Aussie farms and spent much of his life dairy farming on the rolling hills of Millaa Millaa on the Atherton Tablelands. A natural storyteller and engaging singer-songwriter\, Mitch performs in a relaxed country/folk style that reflects his deep connection to rural life. \nHis original songs cover all the familiar country themes — dogs\, utes\, boots\, and even pondering what stops the universe from imploding! Combined with foot-tapping\, easy-listening covers of classic country favourites and campfire sing-along tunes\, Mitch promises an enjoyable afternoon of music\, laughter and community spirit. \nEvent Details:\n📅 Sunday 15 March 2026\n⏰ 4:00pm – 6:00pm\n📍 Yungaburra Community Rotunda \nRefreshments will be available for purchase from The Whippy Express\, so bring the family and enjoy a treat while you relax and listen. \nIn the event of wet weather\, the performance will move to the Yungaburra Community Hall. \nParking for the event is available via Short Street\, with easy access to the rotunda grounds. \nSunday in the Park is a free community event\, with the option to make a donation directly to the band. Everyone is welcome. \nBring a picnic rug or chair\, pack some afternoon nibbles\, and settle in for a laid-back Sunday afternoon surrounded by friends\, family and great live music. \nFacebook event link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1C9KWp4G3M/ \n  \n
