DESCRIPTION:Audiences can expect a stirring program of traditional pipe music; bagpipe covers of other music and interludes of signing and folk music. There will also be singing and folk music to enjoy — a powerful and uplifting musical experience in a relaxed outdoor setting. \nEvent Details \n\nDate: Sunday\, 29 March 2026\nTime: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm\n(Please note the slightly later time for the summer period)\nVenue: Yungaburra Community Rotunda\nRefreshments available onsite for purchase from The Whippy Express\n\nThis is a free\, family-friendly event\, with the option to make a donation directly to the band. Everyone is welcome. \nAttendees are encouraged to bring a chair\, blanket\, or rug to secure a spot on the lawn. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate music\, community and connection in the heart of the Tablelands at the Tablelands Folk Festival in Yungaburra. \nSet amongst heritage buildings\, lakes and rainforest\, this Festival weekend of music\, markets and magic features over 50 local and national acts across genres. From Folk to Rock\, Blues to Swing\, Jazz to Comedy – plus a Poets Breakfast\, Kids Fest\, Workshops\, Songwriters Competition and Grand Parade. Put on your party vibe and get down and boogie in the Community Hall Friday and Saturday nights to the sounds of some of the most exciting dance bands in Oz and beyond. \nYungaburra Hotel comes alive all weekend with non-stop music from some of the finest musicians you’ll see in 2025. Whether it’s the quieter Pub Ballroom or the up-tempo excitement of the big bands out on the Garden Stage\, there’s something for every musical taste. \nHead up to the Silver Ash Café for morning tea or lunch on Saturday  and Nick’s Restaurant for lunch or dinner all weekend with a side plate of great live music. \nThis year we celebrate 3 new Festival venues. \nOn the Wallaby Eco Lodge will host the Satdy Sesh from 3-5 pm Saturday\, out on the lawn with 3 great Festival acts and food and drinks a-plenty. \nCafé Calabash\, formerly Quincan Café\, swings into action from Saturday morning boasting a full program all weekend. Great food and great atmosphere with a special Festival menu. \nAnd from 7 pm Friday onwards\, Mr Belson\, formerly Whistlestop Café will boast music and platters and a great wine selection for a get together with friends and live music to soothe the soul. \nOur Festival Fringe Stage celebrates local Community groups and incorporates a number of ‘chalk board’ sessions \, giving you the opportunity to strut your stuff. \nThe TAFE stage features up and coming performers\, and something special for our little ones as part of the legendary Kids Fest\, transforming into the TAFE showcase on Friday and Saturday nights. \nThere will be many and varied workshops to learn and collaborate throughout the weekend. \nThe McGinty’s Irish Bar TFF Songwriter’s Competition is open to emerging and more experienced songwriters with substantial prizes including a recording package. \nThroughout the entire township of Yungaburra\, come together in the spirit of creativity and joyful community to swap yarns\, songs and smiles. \nTickets on sale now www.tablandsfolkfestival.org.au/tickets
