DESCRIPTION:From My Sketchbooks | Solo exhibition by Graeme Draper  \nGraeme’s paintings in this exhibition have been created from his sketchbooks over the last 33 years. He takes his sketchbook everywhere\, and whenever something catches his eye\, he can’t help but pick up a pen. He draws inspiration from these sketches to create acrylic works on canvas and let his imagination run riot with composition and colour. This exhibition will mainly comprise landscapes\, most from the Tablelands\, complemented by a selection of bird and fantasy works.  \nThe exhibition will be on display from Tuesday\, 11 August to Saturday\, 3 October 2026.

Bookings are essential.\n \nThe proceeds will support the work of REGAINED\, helping children in western Kenya regain opportunities lost through disability and poverty. REGAINED does this by enabling children with disabilities to attend schools specialising in teaching children with visual\, hearing\, physical or intellectual impairments. REGAINED also provides support for children to access medical and allied health services such as physiotherapy and optometry\, services which are beyond affordability for many families living in poverty.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet passionate collectors and enthusiasts while learning about the machines that helped shape the region’s agricultural and economic development. \nA key highlight of the day will be live tractor pull demonstrations by NQ Tractor Pulling Inc.\, running throughout the morning. This demonstration will showcase vintage and classic tractors as they pull a purpose-built weight transfer sled along a 120-metre track\, offering a powerful and engaging display of heritage machinery in action.
