SUMMARY:Atherton Parkrun
DESCRIPTION:A free\, fun and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk\, jog\, run\, volunteer or spectate. \nHeld every Saturday between 7 -8am on the rail trail\, starting and finishing at the corner of  Weaver Street and Atherton-Herberton Road (opposite Platypus Park). \nThe course is two laps\, one longer loop (3.3kms) and a shorter loop (1.7kms).  Participants proceed to the bollard in Priors Creek park (1st turnaround)\, back to the start (2nd turnaround)\, to the marked bollard near IGA (3rd turnaround) and back to the start to finish.

It’s a moment to celebrate the visionaries and the ventures that have made a mark – from thriving family businesses and social enterprises to international heavyweights and emerging stars. \nThis year’s Award finalists and recipients will be announced at a Gala Awards Ceremony at the Atherton International Club on Saturday 30 May 2026. \n\n\nBusinesses and individuals need to nominate themselves. Nominations for the 2026 awards open 9am Thursday 9 April and close 5pm Tuesday 12 May 2026.
