SUMMARY:Atherton Parkrun
DESCRIPTION:A free\, fun and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk\, jog\, run\, volunteer or spectate. \nHeld every Saturday between 7 -8am on the rail trail\, starting and finishing at the corner of  Weaver Street and Atherton-Herberton Road (opposite Platypus Park). \nThe course is two laps\, one longer loop (3.3kms) and a shorter loop (1.7kms).  Participants proceed to the bollard in Priors Creek park (1st turnaround)\, back to the start (2nd turnaround)\, to the marked bollard near IGA (3rd turnaround) and back to the start to finish.

SUMMARY:Atherton Parkrun
DESCRIPTION:A free\, fun and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk\, jog\, run\, volunteer or spectate. \nHeld every Saturday between 7 -8am on the rail trail\, starting and finishing at the corner of  Weaver Street and Atherton-Herberton Road (opposite Platypus Park). \nThe course is two laps\, one longer loop (3.3kms) and a shorter loop (1.7kms).  Participants proceed to the bollard in Priors Creek park (1st turnaround)\, back to the start (2nd turnaround)\, to the marked bollard near IGA (3rd turnaround) and back to the start to finish.

DESCRIPTION:The Millaa Millaa Progress Association in partnership with the Millaa Millaa Creatives invite artists and art lovers from across the Atherton Tablelands and Far North Queensland to be part of the 2026 Millaa Millaa Art Exhibition\, a celebration of creativity\, community and regional talent. The exhibition will showcase an outstanding collection of original artworks by emerging and established artists working in a wide range of styles and mediums. \nThe exhibition will be held at the Millaa Millaa RSL Hall\, Oak Street\, and will run from: 5 September 2026 to 13 September 2026\, with opening times from 9am to 3 pm daily. \nThe official Opening Night is on Friday 11 September 2026 from 6pm to 8pm. \nSponsored by the Millaa Millaa Progress Association\, The TRC\, The Lions Club\, Mungalli Creek Dairy\, and Dozoco Builders\, the exhibition aims to promote the visual arts throughout the region while providing artists with an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work to the public.

SUMMARY:Atherton Parkrun
DESCRIPTION:A free\, fun and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk\, jog\, run\, volunteer or spectate. \nHeld every Saturday between 7 -8am on the rail trail\, starting and finishing at the corner of  Weaver Street and Atherton-Herberton Road (opposite Platypus Park). \nThe course is two laps\, one longer loop (3.3kms) and a shorter loop (1.7kms).  Participants proceed to the bollard in Priors Creek park (1st turnaround)\, back to the start (2nd turnaround)\, to the marked bollard near IGA (3rd turnaround) and back to the start to finish.
