SUMMARY:Atherton Parkrun
DESCRIPTION:A free\, fun and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk\, jog\, run\, volunteer or spectate. \nHeld every Saturday between 7 -8am on the rail trail\, starting and finishing at the corner of  Weaver Street and Atherton-Herberton Road (opposite Platypus Park). \nThe course is two laps\, one longer loop (3.3kms) and a shorter loop (1.7kms).  Participants proceed to the bollard in Priors Creek park (1st turnaround)\, back to the start (2nd turnaround)\, to the marked bollard near IGA (3rd turnaround) and back to the start to finish.

DESCRIPTION:Inner Wheel Club of FNQ Tablelands a Women’s Club for Friendship and Service are holding a Cake Stall outside the Barron Valley Hotel on Saturday 9th May 2026 to raise funds and awareness for Cord Blood Research. Cord Blood Research is the Inner Wheel Australia National project. Since 2001 Inner Wheel Australia has raised monies for 67 grants. Come along and support our project.
