DESCRIPTION:The Yungaburra Community Rotunda Committee is excited to present a musical feast for the November ‘Sunday in the Park’ event\, featuring the Cairns Brass No.1 Band\, Youth Band\, and Junior Band at the Yungaburra Community Rotunda. Enjoy a variety of music from talented ensembles\, including award-winning State and National champion bands. \nReturning to the Yungaburra Rotunda\, the Cairns Brass Junior Band\, 2024 & 2025 State Junior champions of Queensland showcasing the youngest musicians in a series of enjoyable performances. Accompanying them we will again enjoy the Youth Band\, the reigning open C-grade Queensland State champions of 2024 and 2025\, and the Cairns Brass No.1 Band\, the 2025 B-grade National Champion Band of Australia\, who\, together\, will deliver an amazing mix of performances. \nThis is a family-friendly\, complimentary event (donations are warmly welcomed and directly support the bands). Everyone is invited to join in the fun. \nFeel free to bring a chair\, blanket\, or rug to secure the best spot on the lawn. \nParking can be found near Short Street. In case of inclement weather\, the Yungaburra Rec Shed\, Barrine Road\, Yungaburra will serve as an alternate venue. \nThe Whippy Express will be on site – refreshments available to purchase. \nPlease find attached a flyer with information about this event.
