Transport Strategy Feedback
Tablelands Regional Council is seeking community input into the review of their Transport Strategy.
‘Our Transport Strategy defines the star rating (criticality) and desired level of services of our roads,’ said Mayor Rod Marti.
‘We need to achieve a level of service that meets the needs of the community now and in the future, while ensuring lowest whole-of-life costs.
‘Our current strategy is due for review and we want to hear from the community about the strategy as a whole and, in particular, about the star rating system and desired levels of service.
‘The star rating system is a set of predetermined criteria that identify the criticality of a road that allows for work to be prioritised objectively and consistently.
‘The desired level of service helps define requirements relating to upgrades, renewals and maintenance.
‘Your feedback will inform the updated strategy and contribute to the future of roads in our region.
Join the conversation by Sunday 26 October,’ Mayor Marti said.
