Take Care Near Our Workers

Tablelands Regional Council is imploring the community to take care around workers on the region’s roads.

‘We really need everyone to heed the speed and safety signs, and follow the traffic controllers’ instructions,’ said Mayor Rod Marti.

‘The signs and controllers are there for the safety of both the workers and the traffic passing through the area.

‘We need to keep everyone safe and it’s essential that drivers slow down before someone is hurt.

‘Ignoring the signs and abusing our staff is not OK.

‘It’s just unacceptable.

‘We want all our staff and the rest of the community to safely return home each day,’ said Mayor Marti.
