Reconfiguring A Lot — Kaban Wind Farm Pty Ltd
Approval was given for a reconfiguration of a lot development permit for Lot 35 on Holland Road, Tumoulin, subject to conditions. The permit is required for the establishment of a lease exceeding 10 years. The lease is to secure tenure over part of the lot for the Kaban Wind Farm.
Southern Link Road
The timing of the construction of the Southern Link Road (Weaver Street), Atherton will be reviewed in conjunction with future Planning Schemes, long-term financial plan, operational and capital budgets, and Local Government Infrastructure Plan. The Weaver Street road reserve will be retained to ensure the future development of the Southern Link Road. The intent of the Southern Link Road is to reduce pressure on Robert Street; provide connectivity between the Kennedy Highway, Herberton Road and Hastie Road; and ultimately service the demand for additional residential land in the area.
Investment Incentive Policy
Tableland Veterinary Services was deemed eligible for the waiving of infrastructure charges under the Investment Incentive Policy for their proposed development at 114–122 Herberton Road, Atherton.
Freehold Lots Priors Creek Development
Expressions of interest will be sought for the sale of proposed freehold lots 1–4 as part of the Priors Creek Development. These new lots will provide development opportunities for commercial and mixed-use, including short-term accommodation and residential units.
