Change To Conditions
Changes were made to the conditions for the development permit for a material change of use for a multi-purpose court facility at 30–90 Maunds Road, Atherton. The changed conditions relate to car parking and drop-off/pick-up area, pedestrian access and noise nuisance.
Material Change of Use — Boutique Distillery & Cellar Door
Approval was given for a development permit for a boutique distillery and cellar door at 2–10 Auld Road, Tolga, subject to conditions.
Material Change of Use — Winery
Approval was given for a development permit for a material change of use for a winery at 255 Marks Lane, Atherton, subject to conditions.
Council will acquire approximate 1m2 of land, and dispose of 15m2 of land at 46 Kelly Street, Atherton to correct encroachments on two boundaries.
Development Options on Maunds Road
Council will not proceed with the preparation of a variation request to introduce medium-density residential use rights over 15–25 Maunds Road, Atherton. Other opportunities to facilitate higher density residential development in the region will continue to be explored.

The next ordinary Council meeting will be at 9am Wednesday 25 January, and the next Planning Committee meeting will be at 9am Thursday 9 February. The meetings will be held at the Coordination Centre, 15 Vernon Street in Atherton, and will be live streamed and recorded.
