Authorisation was given to the Commissioner of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) to make complaints under the Justices Act 1886 in relation to offences in the TRC Local Government Area.
Financial Report Period Ending 28 February 2022
Operating revenue is higher than year to date budget primarily due to increased general rate and utility revenue generated from new properties.
2022–23 Fees & Charges
Each year fees and charges for services provided by TRC are reviewed and updated. In setting these fees, consideration is given to the cost of delivery, the regulated requirement of the service, and comparison against similar charges by other service providers. The revised fees and charges come into effect on Friday 1 July 2022.
Advisory committees assist TRC in understanding current and future changing community needs, provide constructive options for solutions, and inform decision making processes. Councillor representation on advisory committees and other groups provides an opportunity for strategic oversight, facilitation and collaboration. The updated Advisory Committees Policy and terms of reference for 15 advisory committees were adopted and two committees were rescinded.
