The Rural Active Free Water Therapy Program is back!
Tablelands Regional Council is again offering their popular free Rural Active Hydrotherapy Program at the Atherton Pool, for men and women aged 40 and over in the Tablelands region.
‘The six-week, water-based programs increase physical activity among over 40s and support improved health, mobility and wellbeing,’ said Deputy Mayor, Dave Bilney.
‘The classes are inclusive and welcome people of all abilities, health conditions, socioeconomic backgrounds and experience levels. We’re offering women’s classes as well as mixed classes for men and women.
The sessions are led by an accredited exercise physiologist who will demonstrate, guide and supervise exercises to ensure safety and effectiveness’.
The sessions are:
- Hydrotherapy Women — 9.00–9.45am Wednesdays 4 February – 11 March at the Atherton Pool
- Hydrotherapy Mixed (Men & Women) — 9.45–10.30am Wednesdays 4 February – 11 March at the Atherton Pool
