A project to gather community input from all current and potential users has commenced for the design of the Malanda Multi-Purpose Facility this 2025-26 financial year.
Modern, fit-for-purpose buildings support the objectives in our Community Facility Strategy 2019–29 which includes improved long-term asset and financial planning and sustainability. TRC is committed to providing financially responsible community assets that meet the needs of all current and future users.
We want to hear what all residents and visitors to Malanda and surrounds would like to see in a new facility that caters for lots of different types of use to best serve our community for now and future generations.
Thank you to the hundreds of people who submitted their thoughts, the survey is now closed.
We will now compile all that feedback and begin refining the vision in partnership with a representative working group. Stay tuned for more detail in the coming months.
