Tablelands Regional Council is seeking feedback from dog owners and dog carers regarding the use of our dog parks, particularly the Atherton Dog Park on Herberton Road.
If you are a regular or casual user or someone who might use the park in the future, please give us your thoughts via the ‘Survey’ tab or drop a pin on a specific location in the ‘Interactive Map’.

Council voted in favour of installing a fence to divide the park between large and active dogs and small and inactive dogs. The fence is currently being constructed based on adequate water and shade for both sections and in accordance with Heritage Trust requirements. This will be a 12-month trial and Council will review effectiveness based on owner and dog behaviour.
