Atherton Tableland Agricultural Society Inc
The Atherton Tablelands Agricultural Society Inc. (ATAS) is a distinguished not-for-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and promoting the vibrant agricultural heritage of the Atherton Tablelands. Through dynamic and inclusive events, ATAS showcases local talent, fosters community spirit, and champions sustainable agricultural practices.
These events are made possible through the unwavering support of our dedicated volunteers, local businesses, industry partners, community organizations, and the people of the Atherton Tablelands. On occasion, our committee and volunteers also introduce events that are relevant to the community and align with our mission, vision, and values.
Commonly known as the Atherton Show Society, ATAS ensures that each of its events has a distinctive look and feel while remaining true to our core principles.

Atherton Performing Arts Inc
Atherton Performing Arts is housed in the iconic heritage-listed APA Theatre.
It was in 1981 that APA made its home in the old disused Council workshed in Silo Road Atherton. With the assistance of TRC and community grants, the group has since transformed this igloo, which was first a WWII Ammunitions Depot, then Maize Board and Council Workshops, into the quirky, well-equipped theatre it is today.
As well as having musical and play productions for the public, Atherton Performing Arts runs regular theatre activities. The APA Theatre is also available for hire for performances, presentations and workshops.
APA is always open to new ideas for community involvement and performance. If you have a suggestion, talk to the committee about it.
