Tablelands Wildlife Rescue Incorporated

The objects of association are –
* To rescue,rehabilitate and release sick, injured and orphaned native fauna in accordance with the Nature Conservation Act of 1992 on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland.
* To make available education to both members and the general public regarding native wildlife through professionally accredited and industry recognised training programs, media representation, advertising materials and other lawful means of communication.
* To increase the perceived value of native fauna in the public eye.
* To ensure accountability of wildlife carers / rehabilitators whilst members of the association.
* To support and assist carers to ensure native fauna receives the highest possible standard of care and rehabilitation using current research and evidence based best practice in order that each animal shall have the best possible chance of survival once released.
* To ensure that members are aware of and fully abide by all provisions of the Code of Practice for the Care of Orphaned, Sick or Injured Protected Animals by Wildlife Care Volunteers (Nature Conservation Act 1992)
* To ensure all native fauna rehabilitated by members of the group are released wherever possible and practicable at a Tableland Wildlife Rescue Inc approved soft release site.
* To operate on a not for profit basis with all income and property of the association being used solely in the promotion of its objects.

Atherton Tennis Club Inc

Atherton Tennis Club has been in existence for over 100 years in the Township of Atherton. It has four plexipave courts with a clubhouse and has a range of opportunities for players of all levels to participate in the great sport of tennis.

Atherton Flow Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Atherton Flow was established in 2022 with the aim to share and grow Brazilian Jiu Jitsu across the Tablelands community. AFBJJ runs under Fusion Fight & Fitness Innisfail and offers classes for beginner to advanced members (Open Level, ages 16+).

Our official launch date has been pushed back due to shipping delays however, we are still onboarding new members to join our team! Book a free trial class today, and we’ll see you down at the dojo on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons.
