We support local sport, fitness, recreation and wellness in the community by promoting community participation in active pursuits through provision of free and subsidised sport and active recreation activities.
The Fitness Passport Pilot Program (FPPP) aims to offer subsidised physical activity sessions to encourage persons (over the age of 18 years). who have been identified as being at risk of developing chronic health conditions, to participate in sport and active recreation programs.
The program will offer eligible participants the ability to attend up to 10 supervised, group sport/recreation activities to encourage them to become more active and create healthy exercise habits. The total cost of participation in the program is $20.
