Get Fit & Healthy for Free

Tablelands Regional Council is offering a free, three-week adult outdoor physical activity program.

The program increases outdoor physical activity and contributes to improved health and wellbeing, and Deputy Mayor Dave Bilney is hoping that it will also promote inclusion and social connectedness.

‘This outdoor activity program is inclusive of all abilities, social and economic backgrounds, experience levels and health conditions.

‘An accredited exercise physiologist will demonstrate, instruct and supervise participants using the outdoor exercise equipment at the Tolga Athletics Park.

‘The sessions will be held at 8.30–10.00am Tuesdays 18 November, 25 November and 2 December, and you need to attend all sessions.

‘Places are limited so register online or by phoning 1300 362 242 by Tuesday 11 November,’ the Deputy Mayor said.

Proudly funded by the Queensland Government Activity Industry Project Fund to deliver introductory outdoor physical activities sessions in Queensland.
