Footpath Conversation
On the back of successful engagement in Atherton, Malanda and Yungaburra, Tablelands Regional Council is inviting the community to join the conversation about footpaths in the Ravenshoe central business districts.
‘Department of Transport and Main Roads has provided funding to develop a walking network plan to help us understand the walking needs and opportunities in Ravenshoe,’ said Councillor Annette Haydon.
‘We want to hear from the community about how the footpaths in this town are used, what challenges people face with the current footpaths and what footpaths are needed.
‘The information will inform the development of a walking network action plan for Ravenshoe and contribute to securing funding for implementation in the coming years.
‘Join the conversation by Monday 22 September,’ Councillor Haydon said.
The Ravenshoe Walking Network Action Plan project is proudly supported by the Queensland Government’s Walking Local Government Grants Program.
