The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority is running Reef-themed virtual learning sessions which are being screened at library branches.

Introduction to the Great Barrier Reef – Interact with marine educators from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority as part of this virtual learning program about the amazing Great Barrier Reef.

Learn about corals as the building blocks of coral reef ecosystems. Discover the role that various animals, from sea cucumbers to sharks, play within the Reef community.

Explore the simple actions that you can take to help protect the Great Barrier Reef and the animals that call it home.

Tablelands Regional Council, a proud Reef Guardian, is partnering with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, as part of the Reef Guardian Councils program, to offer this free Reef-themed virtual learning session.
