Excellent Superannuation

Your superannuation contributions will be made into our default fund LGIAsuper unless we receive a written request nominating an alternative complying fund. After 12 months of service, all permanent Local Government employees are required to contribute 6% of their salary to superannuation, and TRC increases its contribution to 12%. You may at any time prior to the 12 month anniversary choose to commence the 6% contributions, and we will contribute 12% from that date. If you choose not to do this we will contribute the superannuation guarantee minimum rate (currently 11%) on your behalf.

Flexible Working Conditions

We encourage a healthy work-life balance and can negotiate flexible working arrangements. The standard working arrangements for the office-based workforce is a 19-day month and for the outdoor workforce, a nine-day fortnight.

The wellbeing of our employees is a priority and we regularly run programs to foster employee fitness and wellbeing. We also provide an Employee Assistance Program and discounted corporate health insurance via external providers.
