Being Inclusive is Good for Business

Tablelands Regional Council is inviting local businesses, clubs and organisations to the launch of the Making Business Better Toolkit and Every Body Welcome Here campaign.

‘Being inclusive is good for business and this toolkit and campaign were developed with the community to help our community,’ said Councillor Peter Hodge.

‘While many businesses and organisations are already actively welcoming and supporting people of all ages and abilities, the Making Business Better Toolkit will provide further tips and hints, and guide others to becoming more inclusive.

‘Businesses and organisations that are implementing inclusive practices can display the Every Body Welcome Here stickers, posters and social media tiles, which are part of the toolkit.

‘The toolkit will be available from the TRC website next month and we will be launching it across the region, prior to its general release to the public.

‘Join us at one of the launches to recognise the value of this great resource,’ said Councillor Hodge.
