Online Upskilling For Clubs & Groups

On the back of April’s successful Club Development Workshop in Atherton, Tablelands Regional Council is offering additional capacity-building sessions for sporting clubs and community groups.

‘We are committed to developing and strengthening partnerships with sporting clubs and community groups in our region,’ said Deputy Mayor Kevin Cardew

‘These free online workshops will build skills in grant writing, and marketing and digital promotion.

‘Attendees will learn to effectively manage revenue options, reach target markets, and become more sustainable.

‘The workshops will be 6.30–8.00pm Thursday 13 (grant writing) and 27 July (marketing and digital promotion), and you can participate from home or join a group session at the Coordination Centre, 15 Vernon Street in Atherton (snacks provided),’ said Deputy Mayor Cardew.

Register by the day before each workshop to participate — a link will be sent to people participating from home.

The Club Development workshops will be delivered by CPR Group, one of Australia’s leading sports governance, planning and community development providers.
