2026 Tablelands Disability Expo, 30 September 2026

Tablelands Regional Council and leading Tablelands’ disability services provider ‘Disability Matters’ will be hosting the 2026 Tablelands Disability Expo later this month on 30 September.

The 2026 Tablelands Disability Expo is a free inclusive event for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, and aims to strengthen community connection by bringing together people living with disability across the Tablelands, their carers and families, as well as local service providers, volunteers and community organisations to connect people living with disability with the local support and services they need.

Tablelands Regional Council’s newly elected Mayor, Kevin Cardew said “Events like this are so important, it’s critical we all do our best to ensure every person in our community has access to the services and support they need, especially in a regional location like the Tablelands”.

“In addition to people living with disability across the Tablelands and their families and carers, I strongly encourage local community groups, disability service providers and health professionals supporting people with disability, or organisations interested in creating inclusive workplaces, to get involved and attend” the Mayor said.

Atherton International Club, 60 Kennedy Highway, Atherton.

The Atherton International Club is accessible for all people, including the car park, bathrooms, and the temperature-controlled event space. The free event will include light catering, lucky door prizes, tote bags, and lots of fun and interactive activities, including face painting for attendees.

Everyone is welcome to come along; no registrations or bookings are required ahead of the event.
