Art classes to be held every Tuesday after school for children and Thursday after work for adults starting Tuesday 2 March 2010 for two months.

Expressions of interest for art forms and focus, for the classes are presently open. Some suggestions have already been made including: printing, felting, logo design, mosaics and digital photography.

Deanna Maich has been in the arts industry for 10 years. Her first solo was in Wellington, NZ in 1999 and her second at The House Arts Space in Cairns in 2004.

She is a member of the Upholstery and has been funded through this 500 member strong organisation for different projects including 'The Humid Condition exhibition' at Platform 1 Gallery, Melbourne, Umbrella Studios, Townsville and the IMA Brisbane. Deanna has tutored in the arts through Cairns organisations such as Kickarts, The Regional Gallery and the Tanks Arts Centre where she was Youth Arts Officer.

She is now living in Atherton, writing and taking photos for the Eacham Times and Northern Herald. Her latest entry into an exhibition was for the Blunt Portraiture Show in December 2009.
