The Walkamin community has completed the first stages of the community planning process. The council is now compiling this information into a poster to inform the community of the findings to this stage.

Vision for 2011 - 2021

By 2021 Walkamin has grown sustainably to keep our quiet, friendly lifestyle.  We are a thriving community powered by wind, solar and hydro.  Our streets are sealed, clean and safe.

Our children go to the local school with after school care available.  Our economy is driven by employment in innovative agricultural industries, school and the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre.
